Robin White: At Home With Us Spanning five decades of Robin White’s practice, this exhibition brings together the significant collection of White’s works at Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum and Gallery, one of the largest in Aotearoa. Shown alongside the Te Papa and Auckland Art Gallery touring exhibition, it highlights Robin White’s enduring connections to home, landscape, and community. Experience the work of one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most celebrated artists in Robin White: At Home With Us. Drawn from Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery’s own significant collection, this exhibition presents a rich selection of works spanning five decades of Dame Robin White’s practice. Designed to sit alongside Te Papa’s touring exhibition Robin White: Tuituia / Something is Happing Here, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience her work in a new way. At Home With Us reveals the strength of the Museum’s collection and invites visitors to a rare opportunity – to explore and view both Robin’s familiar and lesser‑seen works – altogether in one place. Visitors will encounter her iconic portraits, striking landscapes, and distinctive architectural scenes, alongside works developed during her time in the Pacific. Together, they reveal enduring themes of people, place, and community that run throughout her career.
